KASSNA

What is Kassna?

KASSNA originates from the term kat, referring to a traditional Korean hat worn by men.

Initially used to describe a woman wearing a man’s hat, the word KASSNA evolved into a derogatory label for women in the southern regions of Korea.

We, three KASSNAs based in the UK, reclaim this term, using it to express our perspectives and challenge societal norms.
