synopsis

Inspired by Nanook of the North, this devised musical comedy explores cultural colonialism and the intersection of environmental collapse with capitalism. The audience will experience an unconventional musical blending physical theatre, recycled materials, and communal storytelling. Drawing inspiration from Hannah Arendt’s "banality of evil," the show delves into how seemingly innocent actions can have catastrophic consequences.
Featuring northern animals like polar bears and foxes, performed by a cast of six, this production seeks to redefine musical theatre through physical devising and innovative use of recycled objects.

Caught between curiosity and longing, the story delves into what we need most to survive in a world marked by brutality.
With the international musical collaboration between Korean traditional musicians and Western contemporary music, this show shall offer a unique soundscape.

synopsis

In a secluded community where longevity is revered, and taxidermy is seen as the sole method of preserving life, a mysterious salesperson arrives, offering life insurance.
